The Engineer Technology & Innovation Awards 2009
The Engineer Technology & Innovation Awards recognise and reward excellence in collaboration between the UK’s universities and some of its most dynamic companies. This prestigious awards scheme invites university engineering and technology departments and their partners in industry to step into the spotlight with outstanding examples of collaborative activity.
The Engineer Technology & Innovation Awards will reward excellence in the following categories:
1. Sector Collaboration Awards recognising the best examples of collaborative technology projects in Automotive, Energy, Aerospace & Defence, Environmental Technology, Medical & Healthcare and Process.
2. Business Support Awards, recognising the contribution made by large and smaller businesses to the sustainable commercial development of universities’ engineering and technology-based activities.
3. The Centres of Excellence Award, recognising the outstanding contribution by a university or group of universities to a particular area of engineering, technology or applied science.
The finalists will be chosen by an expert panel of judges, and invited to a special event in December at The Royal Society in London to discover if they have won an award...
