Timestrip, the Hitchin-based manufacturer of smart labels that monitor elapsed time, has announced repeat product orders worth a total of £65,000.
Domestic appliance manufacturer Whirlpool Europe placed a follow-on order to use Timestrips in two new applications, which are to be introduced into their markets during the course of 2008. Further details of the products have not yet been released.
The companies plan to jointly explore opportunities to introduce the technology to a wider range of products sold by Whirlpool in
Timestrip has also received repeat orders from the manufacturer of the Dry-Brik II drying agent that is incorporated in the DryandStore Hearing Aid Conditioning System. Products were first shipped in June 2007 for a product launch in September 2007.
Timestrip joint CEO Paul Freedman said: ‘Following on from our recent announcement of contract wins with new customers, these repeat orders demonstrate that existing customers are benefiting from their adoption of the Timestrip technology. We are particularly pleased to see some customers extending the use of Timestrip in to other product lines. These trends support our confidence that our single-use smart label technology has the ability to generate long term sustainable revenues for the company.’
