Best Performer award for Endress+Hauser

In April 2008, Endress+Hauser Ltd was presented with the award ‘Overall Best Performing Operational Equipment Supplier Year 2007/2008 AX4’ by United Utilities under the KIT Framework Supply Process.

Following this process, United Utilities give five quarterly awards to their Operational Equipment Suppliers under different classes: Instrumentation, Electrical Control Automation, Pumps & Valves, Process and Mechanical. The supply process covers all aspects of supply of equipment and process that are critical to the implementation of United Utilities AX4 construction program. Endress+Hauser supplies United Utilities with instrumentation under the framework process for the measurement of flow, level, temperature, pressure and analytical parameters.

This new award was introduced at the end of the 2007/08 financial year by United Utilities covering all five classes of supplier. The award was presented to Endress+Hauser at the quarterly United Utilities Framework meeting and followed another two category awards during AMP 3 and a further one in AX4.

Endress+Hauser’s Water Industry Manager, David Claridge said: “This award in addition to the ones previously presented to us not only demonstrates the ability of Endress+Hauser to successfully fulfil the requirements of a major Water Company, but also that we can maintain a high level of service over a sustained period.”
