Baumer’s product segment Process Instrumentation has developed an EMC-safe pressure transmitter suitable especially for transport applications. It is already applied in the brake systemof several high speed trains. The pressure transmitter is suitable especially for railway applications in which the pressure sensors are submitted to many pressure cycles as for example in the hydraulic and pneumatic brake control or in cooling circuits. The device is conventional to all important standards for railway applications and fire and smoke standards.
