Job Description

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – to £40,000 + benefits

Our client is renowned as a world leader in the competitive and technically demanding arena of production and packaging machinery, a reputation attained as a result of consistent success in all areas of new product development, bespoke solutions for productivity improvement and constant manufacturing machinery design innovation.

As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated and accomplished Electrical Design Engineer to compliment their existing team of design professionals.

Ideally able to demonstrate at least 3 years experience gained within a machine manufacturing environment (ideally allied to the packaging, special purpose machine, food and drinks or health and pharmaceutical sectors although this is not essential), you will possess a relevant engineering qualification and have experience of designing electrical assemblies so that machines have a fully integrated system.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the design of electrical systems on new machines, producing associated electrical documentation (parts list, circuit drawings, manufacturing drawings, etc) and related BOM’s. Additionally, you will ensure that the project machines’ electrical systems comply with the relevant local safety and build standards that exist in different countries, and liaise with both customers and suppliers respectively in order to ensure satisfactory project delivery.

If you wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity and feel you have the relevant skills and experience required, in the first instance send a copy of your cv to paul.simcox@premiertechnicalrecruitment.co.uk or call 01827 68400 for more details of this and other engineering and technical positions in your area.
