Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Job Description

GRC is seeking to recruit a senior electronics design engineer to help expand our design team to meet the needs of our expanding order book. Salary on offer will be subject to negotiation and depend on experience and qualifications.

The right candidate will be responsible for the design of equipment to the customer’s specification.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• The provision of accurate specifications and innovative designs
• Leading the design review process and implementing learning from those reviews.
• Managing the design workload
• Supervising and leading the design team.
• Assessing and training team members
• Recruitment of the design team.
• Responsible for liaising with project managers and customers in relation to their particular
design
• Prepare specifications for procurement packages

QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree in electronics preferably to masters level.
Previous experience in the design of bespoke equipment in the telecommunications field with an innovate approach to problem solving will be advantageous.
