Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description

The Role:

Our Research and Development team currently have an opportunity within their Flight Trials Department for an Instrumentation Support Engineer.

Responsibilities:

•Prepare and Support all aircraft for various flight trials
•Performing Instrumentation calibrations
•Commission and calibrate aircraft Instrumentation Systems
•Supporting aircraft Instrumentation Systems during Flight Trials

You will have previous knowledge of the following Instrumentation Systems:

•Telemetry systems and regulations for the installation of Accident Data Recorders
•Data acquisition systems recorders
•Strain Gauges
•Accelerometers
•Transducers

Key Skills / Experience:

•Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree/HND or a similar discipline from service within HM Forces
•Experience of performing aircraft Instrumentation System commissioning and calibrations
•Definition and design of Instrumentation Systems installations.
