Role
We currently have an exciting and challenging position for an experienced training instructor to support British armed forces personnel during their phase two trade training.
Responsibilities
• To instruct students to operate and maintain military communications equipment as per the relevant Course Folder (CF)
• To instruct students on how to undertake basic unit radio repair
• To supervise students during revision periods
• To maintain student Course Record Folder (CRF) and data
• To instruct in discrete areas of other courses as directed by the Authority
• To provide surge instruction in TTW or time of tension
• To be responsible for your own welfare by following the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and other related policies such as Equal Opportunities, Harassment, Disability and Data Protection etc
Qualifications/experience
Full training will be provided, however you must meet two or more of the following requirements:
• Previous instruction of armed forces personnel within a trade training environment or at unit level
• Royal Signals or sound military communications background
• Familiar with the operation and instruction of Clansman or Bowman VHF,UHF,SAT-COM communications devices and Cryptographic equipment
• Computer literate with a good understanding of PowerPoint and other Microsoft software.
