Job Description
Due to a significant increase in demand for ATC training from our UK and international customers, we are looking to recruit an Air Traffic Control Instructor.
Role
Delivery of ATC instruction to students in the classroom and simulator environments, and acting as Course Manager when required.
Responsibilities
• Plan, design, produce and modify the content of assigned courses, practical and theoretical, to meet contractual customer requirements on time to the appropriate standards.
• Supervise the relevant instruction programme, including the briefing of instructors and the organisation of external visits, to ensure the timely and professional progress of courses with the allocated resources.
• Oversee student progress, supervising the proper setting and marking of tests and practical exercises, to ensure that students are trained in accordance with syllabi and that timely remedial action is taken when required.
• Maintain effective communication with students ensuring that they are fully briefed and debriefed throughout the course, that any special needs are taken into account, and that welfare and discipline matters are satisfactorily managed.
Qualifications/Experience
• You should hold a current UK licence with a minimum of Aerodrome Control Instrument (ADI) and Approach Control
• Procedural (APP) or Approach Control Surveillance (APS), which have been validated for at least two years.
