Role

You will provide a sufficient level of Reliability and Maintainability Engineering knowledge and skills to enable the effective and timely delivery of those tasks and projects upon which you are engaged. You will be expected to deliver products and services that meet business and stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks and activities will include, but not be limited to:

• Undertake the day to day discharge of Reliability and Maintainability Engineering activities that meet the needs and requirements of the customer and the organisation
• Provide expert support in the following disciplines:
o Reliability Analysis, FME(C)A & Safety Analysis
o Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis
o Maintainability & Testability Analysis
o Reliability and Maintainability input to Design
o Data Recording, Analysis and Corrective Action System
o Reliability and Maintainability Case

• Maintain contact with relevant stakeholders and seek to develop an effective relationship with them during the course of the task or project being discharged
• Liaise with employees from other areas of the business whenever possible to understand their perceptions and expectations of your output and performance
• Agree task or project activities with your team leader, ensuring that timescales and outputs are achievable within the available budgets and resources and are consistent with the scope of the deliverable
Skills/Experience

• Educated to HNC/Degree level in a relevant aviation/engineering related subject and/or completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship followed by a period of employment in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and overhaul
• Relevant practical experience of the required aspects of Reliability, Maintainability, Testability and Reliability Centered Maintenance Techniques and Analysis as well as the associated activities
• General knowledge/experience of airworthiness, flight safety requirements, company engineering organization, quality processes, operating procedures and drawing systems
• Effective communication skills and PC skills are essential as are good interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound technical assessments/judgments based on knowledge and experience
• You will be self motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team
