Integrated Logistic Support Engineer

The demand for our expertise continues to grow and we are therefore seeking ILS Engineers to be responsible for reviewing ILS documentation for the Defence Marine sector based at our Bristol offices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Reviewing ILS documentation.
• Management of ILS Work packages.
• The ability to take a Through Life Management approach to ILS across the CADMID cycle.
• Acquisition, Demonstration & Manufacturer Phase defence programmes involving Sea Systems Integration.
• The ability to interface and influence on supportability issues at all programme levels.
• The ability to develop good working relationships with both customers and sub-contractors.
• Establish the job requirement and the process to be modelled, model specification, model development using simulation packages and test the model.

Knowledge Required:
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Def Stan 00-40, 00-41, 00-42, 00-43, 00-56 and 00-60 and sound experience of the LSA process.
• Experience of preparation of ILS documentation: ILS Plans, Element Plans, LSA Plan, etc.
• Understanding of the development of the Technical Publications process.
• Sound domain knowledge of marine vehicle operations and procedures.
