Technical Sales Engineer – UK- Wide – Home Based– £30,000 pa to £35,000 pa + Company Car + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare



Our client is one of the World’s leading suppliers of Sanitary Flow components to the Food, Dairy, Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries. The business is growing by 20% each year and due to this increase they are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to support customers and maintain growth within the UK. The Sales Engineer appointed will be responsible for the sale of Hygienic and Aseptic Valves as well as QC equipment, primarily to Food and Beverage related industries throughout the UK. In consultation with the UK Country Manager and Product Business Managers, the Sales Engineer will prepare the Marketing & Sales plan and be responsible for implementing that plan. The focus will be on expanding and strengthening relations with current clients and penetrating new sales markets. You would be expected to open dialogue and give presentations to clients, while taking care of the entire sales process and managing customer relationships. You will negotiate with potential clients and play a leading role in closing the contracts. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge and experience of Hygienic and Aseptic Valves primarily within the Food and Drinks industry with an Engineering based qualification at HND level or above, coupled to a minimum of 3.5 years business-to-business Sales and Marketing experience. You will be well organised and presentable, with a hands-on mentality and be able to sell on product quality rather than on price. Ref:411
