Eminox to provide exhaust systems for new train fleet

Hitachi Rail Europe has selected Eminox as its preferred partner to provide the exhaust systems for the new East Coast and Great Western Main Line Class 800 series trains.

The contract will see Gainsborough-headquartered Eminox manufacture and supply exhaust systems to be fitted to the new fleet of trains that will be built at Hitachi Rail Europe’s new £82m plant in Newton Aycliffe as part of the Intercity Express Programme.
