Energy efficiency experts wanted for government-backed competition

SMEs in the energy efficiency, building technologies, power generation and energy storage sectors are invited to bid for funding of up to £2m under the government’s Energy Entrepreneurs Fund. 

Support will be given to technologies that could bring down consumer bills and reduce carbon emissions, such as energy from waste technologies.

Winning companies will receive advice on how to attract investment to bring their products to the market.
