Frazer-Nash to support Office for Nuclear Regulation

Frazer-Nash has secured a five year framework contract to support the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) in its regulatory activities related to new build, power generation, decommissioning and defence sectors.

The contract covers five technical disciplines and provides Frazer-Nash with the opportunity to extend the level of support it provides to the ONR.

The engineering consultancy had previously deployed its personnel to provide the ONR with an independent view on the adequacy of the safety case for the control and instrumentation systems of nuclear new build designs proposed for the UK. This work contributed to the Generic Design Assessment process.
