Armour uses Araldite

E4 Editorial Staff

Highmark Manufacturing uses an Araldite epoxy resin adhesive from Ciba in the manufacture of advanced ballistic protection body armour for police, military armed forces and other professional security personnel. It bonds Kevlar fabric to the ceramic armour plates, which, in combination, provide protection against high velocity rifle bullets or knife attack.
