Now, customers with smaller air demands can benefit from the launch of the GA7VSD with electrical energy cost savings of up to 35%, precise pressure control and the increased reliability inherent in the Atlas Copco VSD range.
This latest addition offers a flow range of 7 to 20 l/s (15 to 43 cfm) and two pressure variants: 10 bar (145 psi) and 13 bar (188 psi). With the unique Atlas Copco VSD feature of electrical gearing, operators can simply set the working pressure from 4 -10 bar (58 -145 psi) on the 10bar (145psi) version and 4 -13 bar (58 -188 psi) on the 13 bar (188psi) unit.
As well as achieving substantial energy savings, the GA7VSD range incorporates all of the benefits of Atlas Copco’s WorkPlace Air SystemTM. For example, a GA7VSD Full Feature tank-mounted unit integrates the refrigerant air dryer, compressed air filters, condensate treatment system and air receiver in to one compact compressor package.
The unit’s ready-to-use design, which occupies the minimum floor space, helps operators reduce installation costs dramatically. The sound level, below 66 dB(A), allows the compressor to be installed at the point of use without creating discomfort for the operators. This major feature eliminates the need for a separate compressor room, thus minimising pipework and pressure drop, which saves significant installation and operational costs for the customer.
