Shefford, Bedfordshire-based engineered cladding systems company Dryvit is supplying two of its Outsulation products to the Floral Gardens Complex on the Southport sea front.

Over 7,500m2 of Dryvit Outsulation Plus is being installed at the new £20m Floral Hall Hotel, Casino and Leisure development to deliver a through-wall package of studwork, sheathing and the exterior system. Another 2,500m2 of Dryvit Outsulation is being installed in the £6m refurbishment of the existing theatre complex adjacent to the hotel and casino.

The development, which include pedestrian areas as well as the buildings, is scheduled for phased completion during 2008.

Outsulation Plus is a polymer-based barrier external wall insulation system, which includes expanded polystyrene bards, an air and moisture barrier behind the system and a moisture drainage plane.
