Free seminars show how to prepare for Carbon Reduction Commitment

How to prepare for the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is the topic of free seminars being run by sustainable power company ENER-G (www.energ.co.uk) this spring.

Under the new legislation companies with one or more half-hourly electricity supplies and consuming in excess of 6,000 MWh (roughly equating to an annual electricity bill of £500,000) will be required to purchase carbon allowances to cover annual emissions.

The seminars: London (24 March); Birmingham (26 March); Edinburgh (31 March); Manchester (2 April) are aimed at energy, facilities and financial managers and will explore the implications, mechanics, timescales, costs and benefits of the CRC.

To register for one of the free events call 0161 745 7450, marketing@energ.co.uk
