Hammer mill design

The Alpine Omniplex 20/10HA hammer mill is now available in a cGMP modular pharmaceutical design suitable for integration into an isolator. It produces a uniform product below 500 microns with minimum fines. There is a clear division between product contact zone, bearing unit and drive. The mill is easy to dismantle, allowing quick cleaning, which can also be achieved with the beater unit removed and by using a special cover to protect the bearing system to allow a flush with water or other solutions. It is supplied as a ready-to-go integrated system.
