Laser thermometer is highly versatile

E4 Editorial Staff

Megatech has launched a new low cost portable pocket sized, dual laser beam infrared thermometer. Hand held it is designed to provide accurate temperature measurement over a range of -50 to +500 degrees C with an accuracy of +/- 1% with a response time of less than 1.5 seconds. The thermometer named M7 incorporates visible dual laser beams that clearly defines the target area to be measured from a distance. Its high accuracy is unaffected by variations in ambient temperature. Other functions include the ability to set upper and lower temperature values for 15 seconds followed by automatic power shut off. The thermometer is powered by four AAA batteries and is applicable in refrigeration, HVAC and engineering and manufacturing industries.
