Orders add up to $50 million

Goodrich Corporation has been awarded several contracts by the US Army to supply Full Authority Digital Engine Control Systems (FADECs) for use on-board its CH 47/Chinook fleet of helicopters.
Goodrich expects the contracts to generate up to $50 million in revenue by the end of 2004.
The Chinook is powered by the Honeywell T-55 engine, which utilises Goodrich's FADEC system. The system is comprised of a main fuel pump, dual channel fuel metering and bleed control and a dual channel Digital Electronic Control Unit.
The newest Honeywell engine, the T-55-714 includes Goodrich's FADEC and is currently being retrofitted into all CH 47 'D' model Army Chinooks. It will also be used in the newer 'F' and 'G' models.
Separately, Goodrich announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Aeroflot Russian Airlines to provide wheels and brakes for their new Airbus A319/A320 fleet of 18 aircraft. The new aircraft will enter into service this year.
