UEF sells aerospace division

United Engineering Forgings has sold its aerospace division to Precision Castparts Corporation for £22m as part of its move to refocus on its core forged components manufacturing business. US-based PCC supplies metal aerospace industry products and operates the Wyman Gordon factory in Livingston, West Lothian. After the disposal, UEF Aerospace will trade as Wyman Gordon Lincoln.
