Balance of power

The key point relating to your feature “Meeting the energy mix challenge” is the demand for energy from the developing world. I don’t think anyone has quite realised how much of an impact this will have on our planet as literally billions of people move from consuming almost no energy because the are poor to using the levels of power that we in the west take for granted to heat our homes, run our transport systems and the rest. That will place a massive strain on the world’s energy resources that could I believe lead to wars.
