Aker wins Statoil contract for offshore maintenance

Norwegian energy company Statoil has awarded engineering and construction services provider Aker Solutions a four-year frame agreement for maintenance and modifications on its offshore installations Snorre A/B, Gullfaks A/B/C, Visund and Åsgard A/B.

The yearly volume of the contract will fluctuate, but Aker estimates the typical volume to be approximately NOK1.1bn a year.
