Camfil Farr APC plans to open UK manufacturing facility

Dust and fume collection equipment manufacturer Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control (APC) is to build a UK manufacturing facility in Heywood, Greater Manchester, to serve industrial customers throughout the UK and Europe.

The 40,000ft2 plant is expected to begin operations in January 2013 and will employ more than 100 engineers, fabricators and welders when fully operational.

Applications for Camfil Farr APC’s equipment include laser and plasma cutting, thermal spray operations, welding, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical and food processing and fibreglass manufacturing.
