Electronic design company Eve reports year of high growth

Hardware/software co-verification company Eve closed 2010 with revenue growth exceeding 50 per cent, double-digit profitability and increased market share.

Since January 2010, 30 of Eve’s Zebu-server emulation systems were deployed at 15 different electronics companies worldwide, as Eve partnered with companies in the computing, consumer electronics, multimedia/imaging, networking and wireless industries.

Moving into 2011, the company expects the emulation market to grow at a rate of 20 per cent fueled by strong demand for low-cost, high-speed, high-capacity verification methodologies.

Eve plans to announce several new products for the electronic design automation (EDA) industry, including systems that feature smarter debug capabilities, large capacity, fast execution speed and a low cost of ownership.
