Gripen secures offset-programme contract

Aircraft-contracting organisation Gripen has announced successful fulfillment of the second contractual milestone of the Programme of Industrial Cooperation, accompanying the lease of 14 Gripen fighters provided by the Swedish government.

According to the Annual Report on Offset performance for the calendar year 2009, approved by the Czech Ministry of Defence, the Gripen offset programme had, by 31 December 2009, generated CZK19.92bn of cumulative offset value for the Czech Republic.

For the calendar year 2009, a transactions value of CZK3.68bn has been approved.
