Ilika announces AIM flotation

Manufacturing and engineering group Ilika has recently been floated on AIM, the London Stock Exchange’s international market for smaller growing companies.

The listing comes shortly after Lord Sainsbury’s address at the annual Sainsbury Management Fellows (SMF) society dinner, whereby he stressed the importance of continuing to move the UK’s manufacturing and service industries into higher-value areas to help them to compete in global markets.

Ilika is an advanced materials company that accelerates the discovery of new and patentable materials that are used by the energy, electronics and biomedical sectors.

Experiments carried out by the company can be executed 10-100 times faster than using traditional techniques.
