Nexans supplies cables for Schneider PV project

Cable company Nexans has completed a contract with energy management firm Schneider Electric to supply Energyflex PV cables from its new Keylios range for use in the construction of a 43MW solar photovoltaic (PV) facility in the Puglia region of Italy.

The Cellino San Marco (CSM) project, comprising 580,000 panels, is the largest solar PV project in Italy to reach financial close.

Nexans has supplied more than 1,000km of Energyflex cables to provide durable, high-performance in-field connections between the PV panels and the inverters that will transform the solar energy into usable AC electricity.
