Rainham Industrial Services sells mechanical division

Rainham Industrial Services (RIS) is to sell its mechanical division to the newly formed EFW Mechanical Services.

RIS will now focus on its core services business (scaffolding and access, insulation, asbestos, refractory, industrial cleaning, and grit blasting and coatings).

Current work underway includes power stations at Tilbury, Littlebarford, Aberthaw, Staythorpe, Rocksavage and Dungeness. Recent awards include contracts at Capenhurst, Belvedere, Ellesmere Port and Billingham.

RIS will support EFW Mechanical Services throughout 2012 and until the new company has established itself in the energy-from-waste market.
