I can understand what you're saying Mark, but I think you're going to have to get used to it. To me, the revelation of the iPad is "this is the way web browsing should be". Swiping pages and pressing links with your fingers is just so much more intuitive than a clunky mouse, we'll be laughing at the last 15 years in no time at all. If you've used an iPhone, you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about, but only once you've used an iPad, which is a more finger-friendly size, does the penny drop. And this is using pages designed for the precision of a mouse! Wait until sites start being designed with touchscreen tablet users in mind...
