I have been involved with vibration analysis since 1975. My conditioning monitoring background has primarily been with permenantly installed equipment (CSI). At Eastman Kodak's Paper manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY we used CM on critical equipment and branched out our monitoring network. At GSK Marietta, PA., we are doing patrol methodology in our beginning stages of condition monitroing, using Commtest equipment. I believe it will be effective for our application and predictive maintenance will shine through.
