New report recommends the continuation of fracking in UK

With the utmost respect, as I understand, this process is banned in France and Bulgaria, mostly because the public are not comfortable with this. Surely it seems foolhardy to continue with this form of exploration as it is proven to cause earthquakes. Surely we are not that absent minded or greedy? Please, for the sake of the people and the good of the land, desist.
