Croatian start-up set to begin production of electric hypercar

Comment

Is anyone else bemused by the claimed range ? 92 kwh=331.2 MJ. At 41 MJ/kg, that's equivalent to 8.1 kg of petrol or about 2.4 gallons. Assuming full discharge, that suggests about 154 mpg; with a more realistic discharge level, a deal more. Now, huge number of assumptions here both ways. We know electric cars should have better part load efficiency than a petrol fuelled hyper car, but frankly, I bet that range is out by a factor of three. Other calcs may give very different results, i admit.
