Research car will help develop technologies for older drivers

With most cars now being equipped with Sat Navs as standard, just how hard would it be to integrate this with the cruise control, so that the driving speed could not exceed the known maximum (data from the Sat Nav)? Mercedes have had a similar 'keep to the speed limit' system on their cars for a few years now, albeit you have to select the speed manually. (In case of dire need, flooring the throttle pedal will over-ride the limiter.)
