Glasgow firm set to produce wheels for Bloodhound SSC

Comment

I attended a talk on Bloodhound some years ago, and the comment was made that they could not obtain suitable Titanium for the wheels. I said try VSMPO Tirus Ltd. A Russian company with a branch in Redditch . I am frankly amazed that Aluminium is being suggested rather than a Titanium Forging.Just hope the wheels do not explode!
