You'd have to be sniffing glue to back the HS2! Why not spend a fraction of the money investing in fibre optic technology so half the pointless 'monthly catch up meetings' can be cancelled & everyone can save the pointless journey to a pointless meeting...& do it via video link instead. At least the journey time will really be saved (by far more than 20 minutes) & we can all get some work done...
