Who knows what drought is?

I’m not sure that its new terminology we require here, the wrong type of rain goes right along with the wrong type snow and leaves, no it’s really the wrong type of thinking not just this year but we have been debating our water problems for the last twenty to thirty years. So what have we actually done about it in that time, err not a lot then. If legislation had been put in place twenty years ago that all new build housing, offices and factories had to have rainwater capture systems even if that water was just used to flush toilets we probably would not have the problems we have today. If the water distribution pipeline had been built either north to south or west to east, yes it would have been expensive but that too could have solved our water problems but no we just talk and talk, ring our hands and hope. Not the best way to deal with any problem, it usually doesn’t go away!
