Breaking the airliner paradigm

Comment

One needed airline paradigm shift is to improve/shorten passenger loading/deplaning time. Passengers could pre-load a detached cabin at the gate while waiting for the aircraft “frame” to arrive. The fully loaded cabin could then be quickly lowered in to an open fuselage bay and latched in for takeoff. Pre-loaded luggage and service modules could also be latched in. This could allow airliners to make pit stops at airports – increasing traffic flow. This would also require a re-design of new airport terminals.
