Like it or not, there is a high probability that our actions are changing things. The Earth is a limited size. Only time will tell if the problem is as serious as often quoted. Even if the chance were 20%, we are unwise to pass by on the other side. The EU, in its clumsy way, is at least saying the right thing. At last, one cheer for the EU.
