Majorsell opens new West Bromwich facility to delegates

Airbrake supplier Majorsell celebrated its West Midlands expansion with an open day.

The company, which has been assisted by the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), showcased its new 20,000ft2 facility in Credenda Road, West Bromwich, to more than 50 delegates and predicted a record 2012.

Managing director Deborah Burrows said: ‘We used to be based over three buildings in Birmingham, but due to the pace of growth we quickly found that we were outgrowing the site.

‘A lot of our UK customers are based in the West Midlands and we wanted somewhere that gave us quick access to the motorway network, a large yard and the chance to shape the internal layout of our new home.

‘The Credenda Road facility is just what we were looking for and, following a £150,000 investment, we have now got it operating at 100 per cent efficiency.’
