Electrical contractor PD Welch announces increase in turnover

PD Welch Electrical Contractors, part of the Seaking Electrical group, has announced an increase in turnover that brought its total from £900,000 to £1.3m in the last 12 months of 2011.

According to the company, this follows a raft of contract wins in the hospitality, commercial and retail sectors.

Deals included electrical installation work for new offices at GrowHow in Ince, Cheshire; lighting schemes for the Port Arcades, Ellesmere Port; along with power and lighting installation for Finos At The Waterfront restaurant in Southport.

The GrowHow contract, worth £98,000 to PD Welch, saw the company delivering general power, sub mains and associated equipment, emergency lighting, fire-alarm systems, data and telephone connections, intruder alarm and door-entry systems, as well as CCTV networks.
