Faun Trackway supplies HGMS products to Turkish military

Military product manufacturer Faun Trackway, the defence division of Llangefni-based Faun-Zoeller, has completed a £18m order to supply its portable roadway products to the Turkish military.

The contract, for its Heavy Ground Mobility System (HGMS), is the company’s largest ever order.

Faun Trackway won the bid in partnership with global vehicle manufacturer Iveco, which supplied the Trakker 8x8 trucks on which the roadway will be mounted.

The Turkish Army intends to use the new vehicles and Trackway to improve ground mobility and access to bridge heads.
