A photo model in CAD

XCAD Professional CAD software gives users the chance to get the most out of their PCs

Developed for the 32-bit Windows platform, XCAD Professional CAD software gives users the chance to get the most out of their PC’s hardware performance. At ICAT, the UK distributors, XCAD UK, will be showing the newest version, which has a number of new features.

These include Boolean operations which are fully integrated with advanced NURBs surfacing so users have the advantages of surface and solid modelling in a complete package. For viewing and presentation, there is also photo-realistic rendering and dynamic rendered view rotation.

Variable radius filleting, advanced blending, lofting and Coon’s patch operations should also help the product designer with an idea to sell.

XCAD also provides access to other CAD systems via AutoCAD DWG/DXF and IGES, and all of the import and export functions support trimmed surfaces.
