Fisher Controls International has introduces the Fieldvue DLC3000 Series Digital Level Controller. This multi-variant, HART-based instrument is used with displacer level sensors to measure liquid level, interface level between two liquids, or liquid specific gravity (density). An RTD temperature input is also available.

The DLC3000 Series instrument is suitable for new project applications or for upgrades of conventional pneumatic and electronic level transmitters, including the Fisher Type 2390.

Through the use of an electronic Setup Wizard, the DLC3000 instrument’s startup is straightforward. Level and temperature alarms, specific-gravity tables, calibration trim, and trending are easy to configure.

Ambient temperature changes will not affect the performance of the DLC3000 Series Digital Level Controller. With a HART or RTD input signal, the instrument can also automatically compensate for specific gravity changes due to changes in process temperature.

Accurate, high-gain analog-to-digital conversion enables the instrument to measure very small changes in process variables, making it a suitable choice for difficult liquid level, interface, or density applications.

The DLC3000 Series Digital Level Controller has already proven reliable in successful field trials within the hydrocarbon, power, and pulp & paper industries.
