ABB has received a contract to supply an AC800F control system for a 500,000 ton per year methanol production project in Shandong Province, China, funded by Yankuang Group, which will reduce the environmental impact of burning high-sulphur coal.
The system, which will be provided by ABB China, will consist of 18 AC800F controllers, four engineer workplaces and 16 DigiVis operator workplaces.
