Its Network Manager Market Management System (MMS) will replace National Grid’s current system for managing the UK’s total electricity demand of more than 55,000MW.
MMS is part of the Network Manager suite offered by Atlanta, Georgia-based Ventyx, which was acquired by ABB earlier this year.

National Grid owns the high-voltage electricity transmission network in England and Wales, and operates the system across the UK.
