An informed alternative

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) has released its Net-It Now 3.0 publishing software that offers users an alternative to Adobe’s PDF format.

Net-It Now publishes files by capturing high resolution vector- and raster-based print streams from most Windows applications, including Microsoft Word, Visio and Project, WordPerfect and image-layout programs such as Photoshop and Quark Express and even Windows-based CAD applications.

Net-It Now honours existing hyperlinks and bookmarks and allows the resolution of embedded images to be down-sampled to reduce file sizes. Files are then published into IGC’s ‘content sealed format’ (CSF) with Visual Rights protection.

CSF files created by Net-It Now can be then viewed and printed using free Brava! Reader web and desktop software, which is available from IGC.

The introductory price for Net-It Now is $29 through January 1, 2003. List price is $99.
