BASF launches campus and headquarters in Shanghai

Chemical company BASF has unveiled its first Asia-Pacific Innovation Campus and its new Greater China headquarters.

The €55m (£44m) expansion of BASF’s site in Pudong, Shanghai, where the facilities are located, is said to mark the company’s most important innovation investment in the region to date.

The site — which will employ more than 2,500 employees — will be one of BASF’s largest outside of Germany.
